Orchid enthusiasts flocked to Makaeo Pavilion at Old Kona Airport Park for the Kona Orchid Society Summer Plant Sale Saturday morning.

Organizers said the turnout was the best they have ever seen, with some vendors selling out before 11 a.m.

The club’s annual Mothers Day Sale will return in May 2023.
